L to R: Forrest Wilson (Federal), Mike Overberg (CCI/Speer),
LeLand Mason (Remington), Rep. David Valadao,
R-Calif., Jon Zinnel (The Kinetic Group)
Four employees represented The Kinetic Group and three of its brands — Federal, CCI/Speer and Remington — at the annual sporting clay, trap, and skeet shooting event.
This week, The Kinetic Group sent a team of four employees to participate in the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation’s (CSF) annual bipartisan Congressional Clays Competition. Described as a “day of fun and fierce competition,” the event was held May 14 at Prince George’s County Trap and Skeet Center in Glen Dale, Maryland, outside Washington, D.C.
The company was represented in the clays competition by Jon Zinnel (The Kinetic Group), Forrest Wilson (Federal), Mike Overberg (CCI/Speer) and LeLand Mason (Remington). They represented the company well, not only with their marksmanship but with their continued support of the event’s sponsor, the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF). The Kinetic Group team welcomed U.S. Rep. David Valadao, R-Calif., a member of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC).
“Gatherings like CSF’s Congressional Clays Competition are important not only for growing our business but also the shooting sports industry,” said Zinnel, Director of Community Relations at The Kinetic Group. “These events allow us to meet with our elected officials and other partners so we can share recent happenings with our facilities and our dedicated employees, and showcase our many product lines that support military and law enforcement communities and consumer markets.”
This sporting clay, trap and skeet shooting event provided an opportunity for employees from each of The Kinetic Group’s brands to connect and enjoy competing together outdoors. Following the competition, participants enjoyed lunch and a “bragging rights” ceremony. Wilson, Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Federal, earned the “Top Trap” award in the attendee category. The Kinetic Group thanks and congratulates all four employees for their participation.
