CCI/Speer collects 21K Meals in Idaho Foodbank's 'Million Meals' Fundraiser

CCI/Speer participated in The Idaho Foodbank Million Meals in March Food Drive Campaign and successfully raised $7,133. This was the second year that CCI/Speer collaborated with this amazing non-profit and the team was excited to double last year's amount raised!

CCI/Speer employees had extra motivation through an internal competition between value streams.

The Primer Value Stream, winning the second year in a row, earned them bragging rights and presented the “BIG” check to The Idaho Foodbank. It was a close race, weighing in as follows:

Primer Value Stream: $2,584

Centerfire: $2,499

Rimfire: $762

Operations: $288

Contributions chipped in $1,000

A plant-wide effort, for a great cause!

The Idaho Foodbank collects and distributes more than a million meals to over 212,922 people monthly, statewide. In north-central Idaho, 26,045 people are served monthly through the pantry/mobile network.

CCI/Speer not only helps raise money for the food drive, but last year donated 52 hours of volunteer service.

CCI/Speer's participation in Million Meals in March helped provide food for up to 21,399 meals, showing their commitment to supporting the Lewis-Clark Valley community.
