National Police Week is a special and solemn time for The Kinetic Group. The annual event, which honors the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers, is a week-long celebration that takes place every May, culminating on May 15, National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

One of the pillars of The Kinetic Group is supporting the men and women in law enforcement and the military who protect our freedom. And so, each year, The Kinetic Group recognizes National Police Week, paying tribute to law enforcement and their families, loved ones and communities. The company is proud to support the annual event in addition to supporting the efforts of law enforcement year-round.

The Police Week Memorial Service is held in Washington, D.C., where more than 40,000 law enforcement officers from around the world gather to honor those in the industry as well as gain and give peer support. Many attend to remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Throughout the week, there are multiple memorial services and various events, including music, parades and honor guard competitions. At week’s end, the name of each fallen officer is added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. In 2023, 224 officers were killed in the line of duty, and hundreds more were wounded.

The Kinetic Group was proud to participate as one of the 2024 event’s main sponsors. This is the second year the company sponsored the event as The Kinetic Group, previously supporting through its Law Enforcement division.

The company also encourages employees to attend each year. This year, David Leis, Vice President of Law Enforcement Sales, attended along with The Kinetic Group’s Law Enforcement sales team.

“I was humbled to stand among officers from across the country honoring brothers, sisters and friends who work every day to keep us safe,” Leis said. “National Police Week is about more than just remembrance. It’s a chance to unite in a shared commitment to service, to honor their bravery. It’s an inspiring event to witness.”
